Adjudication

My career started because of my high school involvement in the Sears (now NTS) drama festival, so I'll always say yes to adjudicating theatre festivals. I think it's so important to give students confidence in their abilities and work, as well as a constructive assessment of how to make the work more effective.

In 2024, I adjudicated the Toronto East district of the NTS drama Festival, where I viewed 12 productions from Toronto schools and gave them awards and feedback.

I was really fortunate to be invited to adjudicate the U of T drama in 2020, where I saw 8 student productions and gave constructive feedback and gave out awards. It's always inspiring to work with people just entering the industry (and I totally stole some of their innovative staging for my directing bank!).
