PARKDALE NEW WORKS FESTIVAL

In 2019, Bilal Baig and myself co-curated the Parkdale New Works Festival, where we dramaturged and incubated 4 new plays over the span of six months. We did this with a specific objective of changing the theatre culture in Parkdale to one that actively engaged in new play development.

 

This culminated in a series of showings in June of that year. This was done in association with the Assembly Theatre, the only remaining theatre venue in Parkdale.
